Tea shop's instant rice porridge mix - brown rice - in a tea bag
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a rice porridge mix made by a tea shop, using edible tea leaves (tencha) in a luxurious way.
Brown rice porridge mix
This dish uses hand-picked tencha tea leaves, the same ingredient used to make matcha, and combines them with a specially formulated dashi broth made from bonito flakes, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms, along with organic brown rice from Imabari, Ehime Prefecture. Finally, it's topped with bubu arare rice crackers from Kyoto for added color and texture.
The gentle umami of the matcha tea, the richness of the broth, and the fragrant and mellow flavor unique to organic brown rice combine to create a comforting and deeply satisfying ochazuke (rice with tea).
The gentle umami of the matcha and the richness of the broth,
The fragrant flavor of roasted organic brown rice blends in, creating a refreshing taste.
It's a gently flavored ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) that leaves a lasting impression.
