[A mild taste with a refreshing aroma and a rich, mellow sweetness]

Kaga Bocha is a popular roasted green tea made from twigs.

It is characterized by a refreshing aroma reminiscent of freshly picked sprouts, and a lingering fragrance.
This is "bo-hojicha," a type of roasted green tea made from only the soft, high-quality stems of the first harvest of tea leaves, roasted at high temperatures.

By roasting only the stems and omitting the leaves, we've created a tea that is more fragrant and has a much cleaner taste than regular hojicha.
We carefully select only the finest tea leaves (sticks) and roast them lightly to bring out the full flavor of the tea leaves.

*Because it is lightly roasted, the color is lighter than regular hojicha.

Because it's low in caffeine, it's recommended for use before bed or for children.

It pairs perfectly with Japanese sweets, baked goods, and bitter Western-style sweets.

*Please choose from tea bags, loose leaf tea, or tea powder.

In the western part of Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, the main production area for Sayama tea, vast tea plantations stretch out.

Sayama tea is produced in the tea-producing region closest to central Tokyo.

This tea is produced mainly in western Saitama Prefecture and the Nishitama region of Tokyo, and its history as a tea-producing area is very old, dating back to the Kamakura period.

As the saying goes, "The color is from Shizuoka, the aroma from Uji, and the taste is perfected in Sayama," the greatest appeal of Sayama tea lies in its robust flavor, and the traditional processing method called "Sayama roasting," which further enhances that flavor, is also one of its distinguishing features.

Sayama tea is considered one of Japan's three most famous teas, alongside Shizuoka tea and Uji tea.

"Tea serves as a catalyst for people to connect with each other, and tea becomes the centerpiece for creating quality family time."

With these thoughts in mind, we will continue to deliver Sayama tea that will bring joy to our customers.
