*2025 New Tea* Traditional Honey Aroma - Ureshino - Japanese Black Tea - Tea Can
Couldn't load pickup availability
A rich, sweet aroma and a fruity flavor.
A mellow Japanese black tea with a smooth, deep flavor.
Located in Ureshino, Saga Prefecture, is the "Great Tea Tree," a national natural monument over 350 years old.
Inheriting the lineage of that great tea tree, our ancestor, Shigezo Ota, collected and sowed seeds during the Meiji period and cultivated a tea garden.
Furthermore, we use tea trees that were collected and sown in the early Showa period and are over 90 years old .
In this tea plantation, in years when a pest called "planthopper" appears,
Carefully picking tea leaves that have been influenced by nature,
Using a manufacturing method similar to Oriental Beauty, such as sun wilting,
I spent a lot of time processing it.
As a result, the tea has a honey-like sweetness and a fruity aroma.
Because only first flush tea leaves are used,
It is rich in sweetness and aroma, with almost no bitterness or astringency.
It is characterized by its gentle, enveloping flavor.
It's also pleasant to have a cup in the morning.
This tea is easy to drink, even for those who don't like bitter or astringent tastes, and is suitable for children.
By brewing it two or three times,
You can also enjoy the changes in aroma and flavor.
Due to limited production, this item will only be available in limited quantities .
*Please choose between tea bags or loose leaf tea.

Ureshino City in Saga Prefecture is located on the border with Nagasaki Prefecture and is a basin surrounded by mountains, which is unusual for Saga Prefecture, which is mostly flat.
We cultivate 10 varieties at 20 training centers located at altitudes of 150 to 500 meters.
The large daily temperature fluctuations and frequent fog make it suitable for tea cultivation.
Furthermore, the large temperature fluctuations throughout the year result in tea with a strong flavor and aroma.
The soil is somewhat clayey, but there are many stones, so it drains well, and overall, the plants grow well.
The first harvest of tea leaves begins around April 25th and continues until May 20th, taking almost a month in total.
This organically grown tea was born from the confidence that tea, originally used as medicine, can be safely and healthily consumed, stemming from the father's experience of pesticide poisoning in his youth .
We aim to create a tea with a rich aroma and a refreshing, smooth finish.
We have also been manufacturing tea for about 30 years.
The taste and aroma of tea can vary greatly depending on the variety, cultivation method, harvest time, processing method, sorting, and finishing.
Furthermore, it can be enjoyed in a variety of situations depending on how it's brewed, the type of cup used, and the food it's paired with.
I want to preserve the tradition of pan-fired tea in Ureshino, which has been practiced for 500 years, for future generations.
