It has a matcha-like aroma and a refined sweetness.

This matcha has a mild flavor with little bitterness or astringency.

Tencha is a rare, hand-picked tea that is not widely available in the market.

Tencha is made from tea leaves grown under cover , similar to gyokuro.
This refers to tea that has been steamed and then dried without being kneaded.
Matcha is made by grinding it with a stone mill.

It has a bright color and excellent aroma and flavor.
It is characterized by its mild and light flavor, with little bitterness or astringency.
Furthermore, you can enjoy a unique, high-quality, sweet fragrance known as "Oi-ka" (covering fragrance ).

It possesses the umami of gyokuro tea and the rich sweetness reminiscent of matcha.
This Japanese tea truly combines the best of both worlds.

By brewing with cold water,
This method brings out the full potential of the tea's natural sweetness and umami.

Catechins , which are said to have antioxidant effects,
Another attractive feature is that it contains plenty of chlorophyll , which is expected to have deodorizing effects.

Tencha is a type of tea leaf that can be eaten as is.
CHABAKKA TEA PARKS uses this tencha tea.
We also have instant ochazuke mix available.

*Please choose between tea bags or loose leaf tea.

Kyoto Uji Tea Koshō Tea Plantation is a family-run Uji tea farm in the Yamashiro region of Kyoto, with a long history spanning generations.

The first Matazaemon began farming in this area,
Blessed with a sunny, fertile soil and just the right amount of moisture from a clear stream,
The art of producing highly aromatic and flavorful tea leaves has been passed down through generations.

During the time of the second generation, Matasaburo, they seriously focused on the tea business and expanded their tea plantations.
Since then, the tea plantation, which has been passed down from Matazaemon through generations, has been carefully cultivated to this day.

Having received "Eco-Farmer" certification from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries,
We have adopted environmentally conscious and sustainable agricultural production methods.
We strive to achieve both safety and quality under our own unique farming standards.

In the beautiful Yamashiro region of Kyoto, blessed with clean water and air, a tea plantation has been in operation for five generations.
We will continue to cherish and pass on the traditions and techniques of Uji tea.
