- Tea Introduction -
01_ Benihojicha [Fukumidori]

"A cocoa-flavored taste that combines the subtle sweetness of black tea with the fragrant aroma of roasted green tea."
The rich aroma and sweetness reminiscent of chocolate and cocoa are simply irresistible.
Since it's made from roasted black tea leaves, the fact that it contains almost no caffeine is also appealing!
02_ Pan-fried tea [Fujikaori]

"A richly aromatic, mellow vanilla flavor with a strong, savory taste."
When I first tasted it, I was surprised that such a green tea existed.
The unique, savory aroma and rich flavor from being roasted in a kettle will change your perception of green tea.
This tea is made using a rare method that accounts for only 2-3% of tea production in Japan, so we would love for everyone to try it at least once.
03_ Japanese Black Tea [Benifuki]

"It has a rich, sweet aroma and a fruity, deeply flavorful, mellow taste."
Unlike typical imported teas, this tea has a strong sweetness and aroma, with almost no bitterness or astringency, making it easy to drink even for those who don't usually like tea or for children.
We also recommend enjoying the changing flavors by brewing it a second, third time, and so on!
04_ Matcha [Yabukita]

"A rich taste characterized by its deep green color and a perfect balance of sweetness and slight bitterness."
At CHABAKKA TEA PARKS, we luxuriously offer high-quality matcha, the kind normally used for traditional matcha, in our matcha lattes and green teas.
This matcha has a great taste, aroma, and color, and is sweet, rich, and easy to drink.
I think it would be great to use it as an ingredient in sweets like cookies and cakes!

[Year-End Gift Set] Assorted Japanese Tea and Sweets Set

How about this as a Christmas present, a year-end gift, or a little treat for yourself?
The Japanese tea and sweets set includes the following items!
- Whoopie pies, a Chabakka-style twist on a traditional American pastry (2 pieces)
Gluten -free pound cake made with rice flour and powdered tea leaves (2 pieces)
・Sable cookies made with carefully selected single-origin tea (3 pieces)
① Whoopie Pies: A Chabakka-style adaptation of a traditional American pastry.
What is a Whoopie Pie?
It's a traditional American dessert, and despite the name, it's not a flaky pie, but rather a moist, cake-like pastry filled with cream.
The name "whoopie pie" is said to have originated when a woman from the Amish, a religious group of German immigrants, packed whoopie pies into a lunchbox, and the farmers cheered, "Woopie!" "Woopie" apparently means "Yay!" or "Yay!" in Japanese.
【Matcha】
Kyoto-grown matcha is characterized by its rich sweetness and subtle bitterness.
[Roasted twig tea]
A popular Kaga Bocha tea with a fragrant and mild flavor.
CHABAKKA's whoopie pies are made without refined sugar and are gluten-free.
This treat features a moist dough made with plenty of green tea, matcha, and roasted green tea powder, generously filled with a cream cheese filling. Despite its cute appearance, it's surprisingly filling and satisfying.
② A gluten -free pound cake made with rice flour and powdered tea leaves.
The sweetness comes solely from brown sugar, resulting in a gentle flavor. By using no additives such as baking powder, this dense and heavy pound cake is moist and tender, allowing you to fully enjoy the taste of tea.
[Sencha Benifuki]
The refreshing aroma and subtle bitterness of sencha green tea create a perfectly balanced flavor.
[Fukumidori Roasted Green Tea]
A popular Kaga Bocha tea with a fragrant and mild flavor.
Because it uses plenty of powdered tea, it has a rich flavor where you can really taste the tea.
③ [Sable cookies] made with carefully selected single-origin tea.
We are pleased to announce a collaboration with Regalez Vous, a cafe and restaurant located near CHABAKKA TEA PARKS Kamakura, where you can enjoy authentic French restaurant desserts. There are three types available: brown rice tea, matcha, and roasted green tea.
[Brown Rice Tea Sable Cookies]
These shortbread cookies offer the fragrant aroma of brown rice tea, a delightful crunchy texture, and a hint of saltiness.
[Matcha Diamant]
This shortbread cookie combines matcha with walnuts, and the subtle bitterness of the walnuts is the key to its appeal.
[Roasted Green Tea Sable Cookies]
These cookies feature a refreshing sweetness with a hint of roasted green tea aroma, made with cassonade sugar, white chocolate, and walnuts in a shortbread cookie.
It comes with a palm-sized case, making it perfect as a souvenir or small gift.
Please enjoy this collaboration between Japan and France.
So, that concludes my selection of three recommendations.
