In Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, the main production area for Sayama tea, there are no vast tea plantations in the western part of the city.

Sayama tea is produced in a tea-producing region close to the city center.

This tea is produced mainly in western Saitama Prefecture and the Nishitama region of Tokyo, and its history as a tea-producing area is long, dating back to the Kamakura period.

As the saying goes, "The color is from Shizuoka, the aroma from Uji, and the taste from Sayama," the greatest appeal of Sayama tea lies in its robust flavor, and the traditional processing method called "Sayama roasting," which further enhances that flavor, is one of its distinguishing features.

Sayama tea is considered one of Japan's three most famous teas, alongside Shizuoka tea and Uji tea.

"Tea can be a catalyst for connections between people, and it can be the centerpiece for creating quality family time."

With these thoughts in mind, we will continue to deliver Sayama tea that will bring joy to our customers.
