It features a refreshing aftertaste reminiscent of jasmine tea.
This cup of oolong tea is so fragrant that it's overwhelming to discover that Japan has such a wonderfully aromatic tea.
One of the unique charms of this oolong tea is that you can enjoy it by brewing it three or four times.

We manufacture Sashima tea in Sakai-machi, Sarushima-gun, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Located in the north of the tea-producing region, the harsher climate compared to other tea-producing areas results in thicker tea leaves, which is thought to be suitable for producing black tea and oolong tea.
During the tea-making season, only the first and second harvests are produced, around mid-May.
Depending on the aroma of the buds, we may also produce autumn buds, but only lightly pick the upper buds.
We started manufacturing oolong tea and black tea in 2003.
Since taking over the family business, I have felt a strong need for something unique and distinctive.
During that time, I had the opportunity to encounter domestically produced oolong tea, and I thought that the production method would be suitable for the tea leaves in this region, so I introduced machinery and started manufacturing it.
I wasted a lot of tea leaves during the first few years because I couldn't produce anything I was satisfied with.
We started Izumi Tea Production around our fourth year, and since then we have been producing various varieties.
I strive to create tea that tastes delicious and brings joy to those who drink it.
